Developed in partnership with Sonnet, the Avid HDX Thunderbolt rack chassis brings the power of Pro Tools | HDX for your rack. This chassis supports a single HDX card for connecting to your Thunderbolt-equipped Mac or PC, allowing you to utilize Avid's standard DSP-accelerated system on computers that don't have a PCIe slot. Additionally, there is space for a Mac Mini inside the chassis. Finally, we can use our HDX systems without relying on a PCIe computer!

This chassis has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one for computer connectivity and the other for daisy-chaining up to five Thunderbolt-compatible devices, making the unit a hub for external DSP or other peripherals if needed. You also have access to a USB 3.0 port on the front panel.
