Synthesizer filters can track pitch to maintain the timbre of the sound in instrument voices. However, sound equalizers have always been static. While they are effective for broad tone shaping and room resonance correction, standard equalizers do a poor job of maintaining vocal or instrument timbre as the song changes.
SURFER EQ tracks the tone of a monophonic instrument or vocal source and can adapt its band frequencies to the music in real time, maintaining the natural harmonic balance of the sound source and allowing you to shape the source's timbre in relation to the notes being played.
O SURFER EQ follows the tone of a monophonic instrument or vocal in real time and can adjust any of its bands.
Any of the seven bands on the SURFER EQ can be set to SURF mode to track the pitch of the instrument or vocal source and adjust its frequency in relation to the notes being played.
Furthermore, the tone of the SURFER EQ can be controlled via MIDI notes, allowing its EQ bands to be played using a keyboard, thus creating a unique musical instrument for tone shaping.
We made every effort to preserve the size, energy, and transients of the sound source while developing the sound source's filter algorithms. SURFER EQ . The asymmetric and analog filters of the SURFER EQ they sound natural, even when taken to extremes.
In addition to HIGH-PASS, LOW-PASS, SHELF and BELL filters, we have developed a unique four-mode HARMONIC FILTER that allows you to control the entire harmonic series of an instrument using just a single EQ band.
One of the biggest challenges when designing a real-time pitch detection algorithm is avoiding octave errors while keeping the algorithm efficient enough for real-time processing. We spent over a year meticulously researching and developing an accurate real-time pitch detection engine with virtually no octave errors.
