Drive Module
SSL's Drive module emulates classic valve amplifiers and is perfect for adding saturation and distortion or taming aggressive frequencies. This module offers independent models for guitar and bass, ensuring authentic processing for both. Increasing the drive control emulates the distortion of valve amplifiers and can produce anything from mild harmonic saturation to sharp distortion. The drive control features automatic gain compensation, which means it introduces harmonic content without affecting the overall volume of the signal, essential for the quality of the tracks! Additional tone-shaping tools like boost, punch, edge and shaping controls ensure there's the right tone for your needs at any given time, and there's even a wet/dry control to adjust drive articulation.

Compression and EQ
While Guitarstrip's drive module is very versatile, it's the compression and EQ sections where your enhanced signal comes into fruition. The EQ section offers pre/post positioning options with drastically different results that affect the character of the drive module. There are also extremely useful low and mid gain sections for adjusting tracks according to genre norms. Meanwhile, a listening feature helps you quickly test different EQ options without losing previous settings. When it comes to compression, you'll find many ways to improve tone and balance dynamics. There are five convenient presets, plus an automatic gain compensation feature that prevents unwanted signal loss. A gain reduction meter helps you keep track of the compressor's behavior at any time, and there are even advanced controls for parallel compression and a high pass filter with an impressive +/- 24dB range.

Phase Correction
It's easy to spend hours creating the perfect guitar tone only for it to be marred by phase issues. That's why Solid State Logic wisely included a robust phase correction module in this plug-in. The extensive phase correction module has tools to correct any potential phase issues that may arise, so your tracks are clear and ready to listen to. The correction tools are wide and varied, but they are present in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. Options include a sidechain mode, left/right channel modes for stereo signal correction, a correlation meter that tracks phase difference, delay and phase inverter controls, and the powerful ALLPASS filter with unity gain for making adjustments frequency-dependent accuracy. To top it off, there's a quick toggle tool to compare two modes side by side.
