FabFilter 's Pro-DS De-Esser software is a production tool for correcting sibilance in vocal recordings created by post-processing such as compression or saturation. It can be used for applications such as recording studios, sound design, composition, and more.

FabFilter Pro-DS accurately identifies sibilance in vocal recordings and transparently attenuates it. It can also be used for high frequency limiting of any material such as drums or even complete mixes when using the "Allround" mode.

The software offers everything you need to get the best results possible and is presented in a simple to use interface.

The Pro-DS features wideband split-band or linear phase processing and has an optional 15 ms adjustable stereo link with optional mid-only or side-only processing and up to four times linear phase oversampling.

Plus, you get perfectly tuned knobs, MIDI learning, and intelligent parameter interpolation for smoother parameter transitions. There is also a help file with interactive help tips.

The plug-in is available in VST, VST 3, Audio Units, AAX Native and AudioSuite formats, all in 64 and 32 bits, as well as RTAS in 32 bits only.
