By enabling dynamic time alignment correction of moving location microphones, the Auto-Align® Post makes it possible to effectively mix boom and lav microphones, eliminating comb-filtering and phase artifacts caused by arrival time differences, with just a few clicks.

O Auto-Align® Post 2 takes a significant step further by introducing a new spectral phase correction module, refined algorithm and user interface. It brings ARA2-VST3 support to compatible DAWs like Nuendo and StudioOne, and more.

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 2

Spectral Phase Correction Module

A production sound mixer may often wrap a high-pass filter on the boom microphone to filter out low-frequency noise in on-location recording sets. However, electronic high-pass filters induce a phase shift in the signal, resulting in a significant loss of bass and dialogue 'body' when mixed with an unfiltered microphone.

The new spectral phase correction module dynamically detects and corrects frequency-dependent phase changes to achieve significantly improved spectral alignment and richer sound.

ARA2 compatibility

There is a lot under construction, the Auto-Align® Post 2 brings VST3 support to ARA2-compatible DAWs such as Nuendo and Studio One.

Spectral Correlation Meter [AAX]

A spectral magnifying mirror provides a detailed view of the 28-band frequency-phase correlation.
