In addition to its intelligent target source detection, smart:gate has a number of fine-tuning features, such as a three-band suppression network to weight gating across the entire frequency spectrum.
Level bias allows you to increase the level dependence of processing – extremely useful when you want to refine the response to transient target sources. And because gate and ducking are closely related in their processing, the gate plug-in can be switched to ducking mode, offering the same target-focused functionality.
