ORCHESTAL

Completely reworked in KONTAKT 7 by Orchestral Tools, the comprehensive and integrated collection of string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments sampled in the Orchestral collection are all taken from OT's flagship product line, The Berlin Series. Recorded with top musicians on the same Teldex Scoring Stage in Berlin, these libraries are used by AAA film, media and game composers.

ACOUSTIC

Flutes, dulcimers, recorders, bagpipes, violins, plus a new organ and a variety of gongs and percussion sounds with editable MIDI patterns. The Acoustic collection contains 60 meticulously recorded instruments that allow you to add layers of unique character to tracks. BAND

Whether it's rock, funk, jazz or soul, you can find the authentic sounds you need in the Band collection with a variety of acoustic and electric sounds – newly added guitars, plus basses, organs, horns and electronic pianos. The collection also features a variety of drum kits, which come with preset grooves that can be exported by MIDI drag and drop. Choose from different articulations and playing styles, and get extra personality with a variety of controls, including vibrato and sustain.

BEATS

Find your flow and establish rhythm patterns quickly – the Beats collection has been completely revamped for Factory Library 2. Choose from 288 pre-made Grooves across 90 kits, or freely play your own rhythms with a keyboard or pads. You can also use MIDI drag and drop to export Groove patterns to your DAW for editing and further customize your drum sounds with a variety of studio effects, including chorus, flanger, reverb, and delay.

CHOIR

The Choir collection offers vocals that span the soprano, alto, tenor, and bass ranges. New to KONTAKT 7 is a variety of high-quality patches that include the vowels Aah, Eh, I, Ooh, Uh, and Mmm, as well as sustain, Marcato, staccato, and staccatissimo articulations.

SYNTHS

It consists of three elements: A Debugger, to identify and correct problems in the KONTAKT script; an Instrument Editor, which can load and run Lua scripts to automatically map samples, batch duplicate and rename groups, and copy settings from one part of an instrument to another; and a GUI Designer, which allows creators to assemble, customize, and reuse KONTAKT visualizations and performance controls without needing to write code.
