Updates for version 4 include the new Wizard View, Target Library, and Unmask module, as well as an updated Trash mode in the Exciter module and a Punch mode in the Compressor module. The Assistant Preview feature features Neutron's AI-powered Mix Assistant with modernized, intelligent control that produces fast, personalized results. As with previous iterations, you get an equalizer, a transient shaper, and Sculptor.

Wizard View
Neutron's AI-powered Mix Assistant has been modernized into the new Assistant View, its intelligent control center that produces fast, personalized results. Powered by machine learning, Mix Assistant starts listening as soon as you play audio, producing a reference starting point and taking you to an intelligent control center where you can improve your sound.
Use the Intent Controls to make significant sonic improvements, adjusting punch and distortion before moving to Detail View for fine-tuning. This is your Mix Assistant, but even faster and more flexible.

Unmask
Neutron 4 discovers and solves masking problems for you, allowing you to reach new levels of clarity. The new Unmask Module creates space between two competing tracks, balancing bass and kick drums or allowing vocals to stand out in the mix.
Unmask a track or bus in your DAW, and adjust levels to achieve ideal balance. It's simple to set up and fixes messy mixes in seconds.

Trash Mode
The Exciter Module in Neutron 4 now features a piece from fan favorite Trash 2.
Distort and destroy sound with Trash Mode, allowing you to discover new extremes by mixing different textures.
Adjust character shifts with the new Tone Control to explore the limits of the strange and wild.
Distort responsibly with the Tame button to preserve dynamic expression while you shred.

Punch Mode
Create impact using the new Punch Mode in the Compressor Module to control and visualize the impact of the sound.
Add more impact, punch or attack to bring vocals, percussion, bass and more to life.
Choose between Punch Mode, Modern Mode, or Vintage Mode to easily manipulate microdynamics.

Optimized Performance
Insert more Neutron instances into your session, open sessions faster, and forget about overdubs. In addition to processing your audio faster, Neutron now supports native Apple silicon chips for faster processing.

Sculptor Module
Select a desired style from the menu, and the algorithm shapes the tone to achieve an ideal balance for that instrument. Change the speed at which the process is applied or change the overall tone, treble or bass. You can also set filter points, stopping all processing below or above the desired frequency. This can be useful for shaping just the midrange or for excluding the highs to avoid unwanted harshness.

Independent Plugins

Neutron Advanced comes with 8 individual module plugins, so if you just need EQ or Sculptor, you can instantiate it without loading the compressor, transient shaper, etc. Each of the modules can be loaded independently.
