True Cardioid Pattern
The RE20 features an uncolored cardioid polar pattern at 180 degrees off-axis - the frequency response is nearly independent of the angular location of the sound source, creating virtually no off-axis coloration but providing the highest possible rejection of unwanted sounds.
Inner windshield
An internal blast and wind filter eliminates nearby pop and wind noise. In recording sessions or on stage, singers can “close talk” into the microphone, singing with their lips almost touching the screen grille, without worrying about “P-pops” or excessive sibilance.
Tilt-down switch
The bass tilt switch corrects the spectrum balance for use in long-range situations and eliminates low-frequency noise and vibrations.
