The Avid DigiSnake DB25 to DB25 has DB25 connectors on both ends of the cable. This means that it is designed to connect devices that have these same DB25 connectors. It is commonly used to transmit digital signals, such as multichannel audio, between different components of a recording or mixing system.

Used for communication between two standard DB-25 equipped devices (e.g. PRE output to analog input 192 I/O).
Cannot be used for AES/EBU or TDIF digital dubbing. For TDIF dubbing, use the TDIF DigiSnake. For AES/EBU digital dubbing, use two AES/EBU DigiSnakes connected in series (XLR to XLR).
