O Auto-Align 2 takes a big step further by significantly accelerating the alignment workflow by introducing a new spectral phase correction module, refined algorithm, an intuitive user interface and much more.
Just click a button to align an entire session.
Properly aligning your microphones makes an incredible difference in bass definition and impact. As Auto-Align 2 , alignment takes just a few seconds, where previously you had to spend considerable time trying to align the timing and figure out phase issues.
O Auto-Align 2 introduces a completely new workflow that revolutionizes the way you work. With just one click, the Auto-Align 2 can align all of your microphones in a single pass, eliminating the need for manual routing and configuration. This innovative feature saves you valuable time and ensures your audio is perfectly aligned in time and phase, resulting in greater clarity, size and stereo imaging.
Incorporating technology from our Emmy-winning plug-in, Auto-Align Post, Auto-Align 2 introduces a host of new features, including Spectral Phase Optimization and Absolute Phase Optimization, all designed to improve the clarity, size, and stereo imaging of your audio. By taking care of the technical aspects of audio alignment, the Auto-Align 2 allows you to focus on the creative aspects of mixing and production.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature of Auto-Align 2 corrects phase shifts that can occur within specific frequency ranges, resulting in a more coherent, richer-sounding audio signal. When using filters during recording, different frequency bands may experience varying phase shifts, leading to distorted and unclear sound. Spectral phase optimization automatically detects and corrects these phase changes, ensuring your audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.
The absolute phase optimization in Auto-Align 2 it goes beyond aligning the microphones in phase with each other. It also corrects the overall directionality of the sound to ensure that the reproduced sound matches the original source. This means that sounds that were originally pushed forward will also be played forward through the speakers. By ensuring that audio is in phase and true to the original sound source, absolute phase optimization improves the overall quality and clarity of the audio signal.
