Built to the same exact specifications and exhibiting the same flat frequency response as the flagship CLA-200, the hundred-watt version of Chris and Avantone's latest power amplifier makes the perfect platform for their passive Avantone Pro CLA10s. However, with a true 100W RMS per side and just 1% THD+ noise at peak power, the Avantone CLA-100 power amplifier offers more than enough output, headroom, and clarity to test your mixes. Premium components—high-quality Japanese filter caps, power MOSFET, and an oversized toroidal transformer—give the CLA-100 an impressive ±0.25dB response across the entire audible spectrum and beyond, even running at full tilt. And since there's no built-in fan, this amp is perfect for studios where quiet control is at a premium.

Uncompromising build quality

A class-AB amplifier with classic design, Avantone builds the CLA-100 the old-fashioned way, with no-compromise components in a rugged 2U convection-cooled chassis that visually complements the CLA-10 studio reference monitors. Of course, the CLA-100 can be used with any passive studio monitor that requires serious dynamic range. Avantone has taken meticulous care to create a traditional studio-style amplifier, with generous VU meters, high-quality Japanese filter caps, and a robust toroidal transformer linear power supply.

No fan noise — ideal for control room installation

Meticulously engineered in a standard 1U rackmount chassis, this amplifier can output 100 watts RMS per channel into an 8 ohm load, making it perfect for medium to large speakers in a studio control room environment. The CLA-100 is convection cooled, so there is no fan noise — making it even more suitable for control room installation.
