Loaded with three discrete VCOs per voice, the polyphonic performance is rich and distinctive, augmented by the newly reinvented version of the ladder filter originally created for the Pro 3. envelope allow for vast exploration, enhanced by a robust set of targeting and timing options, as well as powerful poly modification tools. Built on the foundation of Sequential's iconic 3-oscillator ladder filter sound, the Trigon-6 rounds out the rich tone with six voices of powerful polyphony. Combine distinct sounds with simultaneously selectable waveforms in each of the three VCOs per voice, with triangle, sawtooth and reverse sawtooth options, refined and customized via pulse width modulation for each oscillator. The feedback and drive controls can be used to fine-tune the saturation with each oscillator, while hard sync connects VCOs one and two, and keyboard tracking can be toggled for VCO three. A supplemental white noise source and toggleable keyboard pitch tracking further expand the scope; a vintage knob lets you dial in the voice-to-voice variation of vintage synths, letting you sculpt a sound that's equal parts personal and quintessential Sequential.

A flexible low-pass filter can be quickly switched between 2- and 4-pole modes, with discrete, resonant, low-pass and ladder options available per voice. Bipolar and Envelope Amount values ​​can be used in conjunction with velocity modulation, while you can send the filter to auto-oscillate with the Resonance controls. The 4-stage ADSR envelope generators can be velocity modulated for amp and filter envelopes.
