The auto gain feature takes the guesswork out of setting your levels and controls the fader to a minimum. You can take advantage of the compressor and limiter to increase performance and keep spikes under control. The low-cut filter helps prevent bass noise that can detract from a shot. Other useful DSP controls include a noise gate and normalization control. When you're done recording, add a touch of reverb and you're done!
